Native of Louisiana, Eric Davis, returned home to view the devestation for himself. Davis, a senior hygenist for Environmental Testing Associates, will head the ETA Disaster Relief Team. 
 
" Like everyone else, I saw the destruction on the news.  I had no idea of just how extensive Katrina's devastation really was and human suffering it has caused," Davis reports.

About 80% of New Orleans was flooded after Katrina's surging waters broke through levees and floodwalls along canals.  Moisture fosters the spread of mold. Unfortunately, many are learning this through personal experience. 

ETA's mission is to make the home and work place safer for our clients and their families.  All inspections are performed by our certified professionals and analyzed by an idepedent accredited laboratory.  Knowing that accuracy and expedited results are paramount, our testing facility, LA Testing, has dispatched two mobile laboratories to New Orleans to support the ETA team.
 
Some agencies are advising homeowners of the importance of third party final inspection and post-remediation air testing.  Through detailed reports and laboratory results,  ETA will provide clients with confidence and assurance that the indoor environment is safe when the remediation work is completed.
